Lívia Lenz is an international lawyer with dual American and Brazilian citizenship who is admitted to practice law in both countries. She has extensive experience in both Brazilian and American law.
Mrs. Lenz holds a degree in Law from Pontifical Catholic University of Rio Grande do Sul (PUCRS) in Brazil and two master’s degrees from University of California, Berkeley (LL.M) and from the State University of Rio Grande do Sul (UFRGS). She lectures postgraduate programs on international and corporate law.
Mrs. Lenz practice centers on international matters, including contracts and corporate issues. She has acted for well-known American and Brazilian law firms helping clients from a broad range of industries including financial services, communication, retail and manufacturing. She provides complete legal services on mergers and acquisition deals, conducts due diligence processes and negotiations, drafts and revises all transaction documents.

She was a foreign legal advisor at Milbank, Tweed, Hadley & McCloy LLP acting on capital markets in initial public offerings (IPO) with selling efforts (Rule 144A/Reg S) in the United States and Europe, representing Brazilian companies as issuers and U.S and Brazilian banks as underwriters. Among her representations: representation of Merrill Lynch, Pierce, Fenner & Smith Incorporated, BTG Pactual US Capital Corp. and Itaú BBA USA Securities, Inc. as underwriters in the initial public offering of Queiroz Galvão Exploração e Produção (QGEP) Participações S.A. Representation of Vulcabras / Azaleia S.A and Camil Alimentos S.A. in structuring their initial public offerings. Representation of issuers/borrowers and underwriters/lenders in investment grade and high yield debt offerings. Representation of Fibra S.A. in its international bond offering. Representation of Companhia Brasileira de Distribuição in its stock split. Representation of Brazilian companies before the Securities and Exchange Comission (SEC) and the New York Stock Exchange (NYSE).
Livia currently lives in Porto Alegre, Brazil, and lived in the United States.

Mr. Lima graduated from High School in Sacramento, United States and holds a degree in Law from Pontifical Catholic University of Rio Grande do Sul (PUCRS) in Brazil, a Master in Corporate Law from the University of Paul Cézanne Aix-Marseille III, in France, as well as a Master in Tax Management and Advising by ESADE, in Spain.
Mr. Lima’s interest in Law and devotion to his clients has led him to practice in three different jurisdictions including Brazil, Portugal and Spain. His focus and experience on international business transactions has given him an extensive understanding of tax management within a complex regulatory framework allowing him to advise clients on issues they encounter when operating outside of their home country.
Mr. Lima has been living in Europe for 10 years and has participated in numerous gatherings of international businesses including workshops supported by Family Business Offices such as the Family Business Forum held in London.
He currently lives in Spain; however, he has lived in France, Portugal and the United States.
